A cosy, professional recording studio based in the North West of England

 

Prodigal Son was started by Dave Ormsby & Joe Smithson. What started out as a simple home studio has seen four years of building a beautifully talented and diverse client base & catalogue,  resulting in a recent expansion to a new, upgraded location on the Wirral peninsula, just 30 minutes outside of Liverpool.

 

The studio also now contains a small team of wonderful writers, producers and in-house session musicians to cater to your every creative need.​ We offer a wide range of services, including  recording, music production, mixing, writing, arranging, the best pots of coffee this side of the Atlantic, and much more.
